Smiths LLC is a firm specializing in architecture. Our goal is to foster the desires and wishes of our clients through innovative design and through education about the possibilities of our medium. We seek to create extrodinary environments by reinterpreting its nature as form, material, and detail. We believe in the potential of architecture as fostering stimulating environments for habitation and for the development of community.
James Smith has over 17 years of experience in architecture and community development. He was the founding member and principal of Smiths LLC, and was co-founder of Agency for Architecture in 1997.
